The Library Services Unit

The Library Services Unit provides a centralized library service which aims to enhance the administration of justice through the provision of legal information that is both timely and relevant.

The well stocked and modern collections of the Supreme Court Library are used as a reference library. Under the day-to-day management of a qualified Librarian and an experienced Library Assistant, the Unit provides valuable support to the Judges, Magistrates,  Judicial Assistants, Attorneys-at-Law and others.

Services provided

  • Provides skilled and customised reference services
  • Acquires, organises and manages the relevant information resources
  • Provides effective and timely access to legal information
  • Is responsible for establishing and maintaining relevant collections in the Judges’ Chambers,
    Master’s Chamber, Registrar’s and Deputy Registrars’ Offices and Magistrates’ Chambers.
  • Provides photocopying services.
